Specialised psychological therapy

For children, teenagers, young adults and adults+65

The Danish National Center for Grief provides face-to-face talking therapy to individuals, families and in groups.

Group therapy is available for teenagers and young adults (aged 16-27) whose parents or siblings are seriously ill or have died. Group therapy is also available to bereaved teenagers (aged 13-19) and young adults (aged 20-28) who have lost a parent who suffered from alcohol- or drug addiction.

Therapy is performed in Danish only.

Not all bereaved people need specialised psychological therapy. Most cope with the support of their network – family, friends or partner. It can be difficult to know if you need help. Read more about natural and complicated grief reactions on this website or reach out to us by phone or e-mail.
